INTRODUCTION

The Terms and Conditions are intended to explain the way in which Library Essential provides goods and services. The terms and conditions apply to all goods ordered from libraryessential.com and will become binding after an order is placed. We encourage you to read the terms and conditions listed below before placing an order.

 

THE CONTRACT

When you choose to make a purchase on the Library Essential website you enter into a contract with Library Essential Limited, whose registered office is at 55 Redcliffe Road SW10 9NQ.

 

The contract is for products listed on the Library Essential website and is in accordance with English law. In the event of a dispute, exclusive jurisdiction is given to the English courts.

 

In order for the contract to become valid, Library Essential must receive full payment of the price of the good listed. Once payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation of your order via email at the email address you [provided in your registration form]. This represents an acceptance of the order by Library Essential and a legally binding contract is formed therein.

 

Library Essential will post the goods ordered by you via Royal Mail for locations in the UK. Goods posted outside of the UK will be posted via the fastest and most economical shipper available at the time or order. We will provide those details if and when they are requested by you. Goods will be posted to the address provided at the time of order and to the persons listed to the address. We aim to make delivery as soon as possible after the order and no later than 30 calendar days from the date of purchase. Once the goods are received, you the purchaser become the owner of those goods.

 

Library Essential has no control over extra charges in relation to customs clearance for goods delivered outside of the EU. It is important to understand that your order might be subject to import duties and taxes and you should check with your local post office or customs office for further information on this.

 

The contract can be invalidated by both parties: the seller (Library Essential Limited) and the purchaser (you).

 

EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY

If you are dissatisfied with the goods and services provided to you by Library Essential Ltd. we advise you to make this known as soon as possible so that a solution (exchange or refund) can be offered without delay. We would encourage you to either email the team at hello@libraryessential.com or telephone us on +44 (0) 207 352 2480. 

Library Essential must receive the full quantity of goods and be notified of your request to return the goods at any time between the date of purchase and 10 working days after you have received the goods.

 

Once those goods have been received by us, you will be issued a refund or an exchange promptly or at the very latest, 30 calendar days from date of purchase.

 

The exchange and/or refund value is restricted to the original value of the goods sold to you listed in the original invoice.

 

In order for the contract to be withdrawn by the seller, Library Essential will have been unable to obtain authorisation of payment and/or suspected fraudulent activity and/order communicated that the product ordered is unavailable from stock at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse an order. If there are problems, we shall contact you as soon as possible.

 

LIABILITY

Library Essential will not be held liable for any loss or damage that is not reported to us in writing at the Library Essential contact email address (hello@libraryessential.com) within 30 calendar days of the date of purchase.

If you report an issue to us within those conditions, we are obligated to offer a replacement good or complete refund, the choice of which will be communicated to you in writing as soon as possible. Please note that the conditions outlined should not infringe upon your rights as a consumer under applicable local law.
